A challan is a kind of acknowledgment receipt. We use challan for the purpose of acknowledgment of the goods, actions, and in case of traffic rules violation for fine. A traffic challan is sent or issued when a driver violates a set of traffic rules under the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988.
