Abetment in India of offences outside India – a person abets an offence within the meaning of this Code who, in [India], abets the commission of any act without and beyond [India] which would constitute an offence if committed in [India].27 Another remedy available to the wife party to an NRI marriage in cases of marital discord and ill-treatment is mentioned under Section 10 of the Passports Act 1967. This provision provides for the seizure and revocation of the passport of the NRI husband if he doesn’t present himself in the Court when a summons notice is sent to him.
